Adam has built every type of software and led lots of different teams delivering hugely impactful work at 10 person companies up through 20k person companies. Engineers who know him have often heard him say that he doesn't think humanity has figured out how to build complex software systems yet and he set out to try to help. He bought into statecharts as a big part of the answer and, shortly afterwards, left his job in big tech to help build the ecosystem of tooling and services needed to get real industry adoption of statecharts.
